I came home to this little treasure on my door mat last night...

It's a postcard from the boy, featuring a photo I took last Sunday when we made American pancakes for breakfast. What a lovely idea!

Feeling fruity

I think it must be something to do with the impending summer and the glimmer of hope that the February sun has given us all, that perhaps, the winter is finally over.

As a means to welcome summer, I find no better place to start than my wardrobe. I have recently added two new dashes of colour. A delicious mint blue cardigan, which I plan on swapping with the bottle green of winter cardigan. And a second, just as beautiful bright green cardigan. 

These are both offset with my new summer hair, which is currently a very fiery shade of orange, I believe Loreal describes the colour as mango burst, very fitting for my fruity summer.

My next purchase is one I have dreamt of making for weeks, ever since I realised H&M had a homeware department. I am in love with these lemon print sheets and matching cushion

What says summer more than these little delights? So there we go. These are my first little grasps towards the summer sun.

Blogger off

I have considered creating a blog for some time now. I must admit, I thought it would be easier. 
I was foolish enough to believe that changing the background of my blog would be simple. The days of Myspace arose in my mind, and the simplicity of changing a background is now a distant memory.
I easily spent over an hour trying to rearrange last night, I even went as far as to watch an online tutorial on Youtube.
Needless to say, I was unsuccessful at producing a beautiful blog to be proud of. I deleted my original blog as I was unable to cancel the changes to my template. On my second attempt I am left with this mess. I think it best I not meddle. 


I will forever be jealous of those whose blogs are even more beautiful than the items that they post.

A first

For my first blog entry I would like to share something that I like, seeing as this blog is one of liking..

I have recently discovered the power of stumbleupon. I know I may be a little late to climb aboard this gravy train but I adore it nonetheless. It knows exactly what I want (as it is customized to my own tastes).

Just today I stumbled upon the artist Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez. He is an artist that uses photo manipulations. Here are a few of my fsvourites...
